Select Your Cable Assemblies
3/16" Standard Assemblies are an extra durable option primarily for commercial projects but may also be installed in residential settings. Can be used on either wood or metal railing frames.
The standard assemblies you need for your basic cable project are listed here.
Choose your assembly lengths with the Threaded Terminal size to fit your type of post (metal or wood), a preferred End Cap color,
and you're good to go. Then proceed to the accessories and tools page to complete your order. We
also offer custom length assemblies so just ask if you don't see what you need. Or you can click on "CUSTOM CABLE AND HARDWARE" at
the left to see a wide selection of custom assembly parts and architectural hardware.
Each assembly includes the selected length of 3/16" diameter type 316 stainless steel cable with one pre-attached Threaded Terminal
fitting, one QuickConnect-SS™ fitting, two stainless steel Flat Washers (or two nylon Flat Washers for metal posts),
one stainless steel Snug-Grip™ washer nut, and two Colored End Caps.

3/16" Assemblies for Metal Posts
Our Standard 6700 Series assemblies have a shorter Threaded Terminal (4-1/4" long) for attaching to slender metal posts.
All 6700 Series assemblies come with colored end caps; so simply select your assembly lengths and desired cap colors in the form below. Stainless steel end caps are sold separately as an accessory option (see accessories and tools). If ordering accessory stainless end caps, select "- none -" from the end caps colors below.

3/16" Assemblies for Wood Posts
Our Standard 6800 Series assemblies have a longer Threaded Terminal (7-1/2" long) for attaching to thick wood posts.
All 6800 Series assemblies come with colored end caps; so simply select your assembly lengths and desired cap colors in the form below. Stainless steel end caps are sold separately as an accessory option (see accessories and tools). If ordering accessory stainless end caps, select "- none -" from the end caps colors below.
